We created this platform for anyone and everyone interested in travel. To ensure all users are able to enjoy the features of The Travel Hub, there are some Terms and Conditions concerning the required standards of behavior. 

                    

We look to provide an online platform and social network for users to share and access content – written information, images, video, advice, etc. 

There is an opportunity for users to actively engage with others and have their content shared to a wider audience. 

Users of this website, and all associated platforms of The Travel Hub, are required to read and understand these “Terms and Conditions” carefully. Definitions

                

“The Travel Hub” describes an entity operated under Think Liquorice, a registered company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Reference herein to "The Travel Hub” includes all associated platforms, including but not limited to “The Website” ( www.thetravelhub.com), social media accounts (those controlled by The travel Hub and those associated or linked to The Travel Hub and its administrators), all associated online links and all collaborations and partnerships involving The Travel Hub. 

These “Terms and Conditions” establish an agreement between The Travel Hub and all parties using these platforms (“The User”) for any purpose whatsoever and supersede any prior agreement. Any agreement beyond these terms requires authorized and signed consent from The Travel Hub. 

By using The Website, The User undertakes responsibility for reading and understanding these “Terms and Conditions”. Failure to do so does not void The User of responsibility to abide by the terms of this agreement. If The User does not agree with the terms and conditions set out in this agreement, they are requested to cease using the site immediately and lodge an objection with the administrators.

These “Terms and Conditions” are subject to change at anytime by the administrators of The Travel Hub. Users are required to be familiar with any changes. 

                

Terms & Conditions

             

 1.Terms Relating to use of The Website 

                

Users undertake any and all interaction on The Travel Hub platforms under their own free will. At anytime should they feel they cannot do so in accordance to these “Terms and Conditions”, the user is required to immediately cease using The Travel Hub platforms. 

Access to The Travel Hub platforms can be revoked at anytime should the administrators decide the users interaction is not in the best interests of the platforms, other users or the travel industry.

                

2.Terms relating to submission of written content

                

All written content and links to written content is subject to the following terms. 

Any written content submitted to The Travel Hub is done so willingly and with the understanding that there is no expectation or requirement for reimbursement, financially or otherwise. 

The rights to written content always remain the property of the original author, however there may be times that The Travel Hub will use content submitted by users. The user acknowledges that by submitting content, they are granting permission to The Travel Hub to use that content in any capacity deemed appropriate, including situations where it may generate income for The Travel Hub. There is an understanding that no royalties, financial remuneration or compensation is required should The Travel Hub use any content submitted to the platforms

The Travel Hub will acknowledge the details of the author provided by The User submitting the written content and it is understood that this information is correctly provided. 

The Travel Hub shall act to protect the integrity and originality of any written content submitted. However, the user understands that The Travel Hub is a public platform and the content will become available to other users. The Travel Hub shall not be held responsible for the actions of other users in relation to submitted content. This includes the copying or plagiarism of content submitted to The Travel Hub. 

 

The User acknowledges that the written content submitted does not contain offensive material. This may include, but is not limited to:

 

                    - Inappropriate references to race, gender, sexual preference, religion, physical appearance or disabilities. 

                    

                    - Content which violates the rights of an individual, group or business.

                    - Content promoting violence, drug use, discrimination, animal abuse, human rights violations, political opinion or illegal activity.

                    

Content submitted must be true and accurate to the best of the userʼs knowledge. No content shall contain information which is fraudulent, defamatory, unlawful or misleading. The Travel Hub shall not be responsible where individuals are seen to have infringed on the legal rights of other individuals, groups or businesses who subsequently seek legal action. 

All written content submitted on The Travel Hub platforms must be the original work of the credited author. In any case where the author is not responsible for submitting the written content, the user submitting the content must have received formal consent from the author. 

If The Travel Hub becomes aware of instances of plagiarism, breach of copyright or misrepresentation, the content will be deleted, the userʼs access revoked and where appropriate, legal action will be pursued.

                

3.Terms relating to submission of audio-visual content 

                

All audio-visual content (images, videos, interviews, music and links to such content is subject to the following terms. 

Any audio-visual content submitted to The Travel Hub is done so willingly and with the understanding that there is no expectation or requirement for reimbursement financially or otherwise.

The rights to any content always remain the property of the original creator, however there may be times that The Travel Hub will use content submitted by users. The user acknowledges that by submitting content, they are granting permission to The Travel Hub to use that content in any capacity deemed appropriate, including situations where it may generate income for The Travel Hub. There is an understanding that no royalties, financial remuneration or compensation is required should The Travel Hub use any content submitted to the platforms.

                    - Content containing nudity, violence or animal cruelty.

The Travel Hub shall not be responsible where individuals are seen to have infringed on the legal rights of other individuals, groups or businesses who subsequently seek legal action.

4. Terms relating to engagement on platforms:

                

All platforms of The Travel Hub require a high standard of conduct for engagement. The Travel Hub reserves the right to delete, block, report and seek further appropriate action (including legal action) in response to any conduct which is deemed to be inappropriate. Inappropriate engagement includes, but is not limited to, discriminatory references to race, gender, sexual preference, religion, physical appearance, disabilities or in any way violates the rights of an individual, group or business. 

The Travel Hub also reserves the right to seek legal action against individuals considered to be engaged in any form of behavior that is deemed to be aggressive, of a bullying nature or inappropriate sexual advances. The strict laws concerning online bullying in The United Arab Emirates will be applied to instances of abuse observed on The Travel Hub platforms. 

Any engagement that users consider to be in breech of the guidelines for The Travel Hub must be reported to the administrators.

                

5. Terms relating to collaboration and sponsorship 

The Travel Hub platforms provide opportunities for users to establish collaborations, partnerships and arrangements with other users, brands, 3rd parties and any other individual or entity. Any arrangement made between users or other interested parties are separate to these Terms and Conditions and require their own agreement. The Travel Hub shall not be held responsible for disagreement, misunderstanding or disputes relating to any arrangements made between users and other interested parties, regardless if the those arrangements were coordinated by The Travel Hub.

Any collaborations, partnerships and arrangements made between The Travel Hub and other interested parties (including but not limited to users, brands and 3rd parties) shall require their own agreements specific to that arrangement. This includes paid collaborations, endorsements, ambassadorships, collaborations based on exchange of service, supply of product, social media engagement, creation of content and any other agreement between The Travel Hub and another party.

Users providing content (written, audio-visual or otherwise) or services to The Travel Hub (including use of any content) understand there is no expectation or requirement for this to result in or lead to any form of collaboration or partnership. 

                

6. Terms relating to competitions

All competitions involving The Travel Hub shall have their own Term and Conditions specific to that competition. Users are required to be familiar with the Terms and Conditions of any competition they enter or seek to enter

                

7. Terms relating to social media

All social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, twitter and YouTube, run by The Travel Hub or associated with The Travel Hub are subject to the same Terms and Conditions described for here. 

Use of these social media platforms is to be considered on the same level as use within The Website. 

Use of social media platforms is also subject to the Terms and Conditions specific to that individual platform. The Travel Hub shall not be held responsible in instances where users are found to be in breach of terms specific to the social media company in question.

                

8. Terms relating to “Registered Users” 

Users may access The Travel Hub website as a guest or sign up as a “Registered User”. A “Registered User” is required to provide individual details including identification, contact information and information specific to travel styles and interests. All details provided by users in this process are understood to be done willingly and voluntarily. All information provided by the user during this process is accurate to the best of the userʼs knowledge and not misleading or knowingly untrue. Users are aware some or all of the information provided will be visible to other users of The Travel Hub platforms and 3rd parties. The Registered User should be familiar with which information is visible to other users. 

Guests may continue to access The Travel Hub website in a limited capacity. The Travel Hub is in no way obliged to grant full access to the website without completion of the sign up process. 

Individuals are NOT permitted to sign up as Registered Users if: 

                    - They have previously had an account disabled or terminated. 

                    - They already have an account (Only one account is permitted per individual or group)

                    - They have been convicted of any cyber crimes including hacking.

                

9. Terms relating to use of Registered User Pages

“Registered Users” to The Travel Hub website will have access to a personal page within the site. This page allows users to upload content (written content, visual content, online links, social media details and personal details including travel styles, destinations and interest).

Users should be familiar with what information will become visible to other parties. The Travel Hub shall not be held responsible for details being visible to outside parties, other than what is specified in “Terms relating to privacy”.

Users are responsible for anything that is uploaded on their individual page, especially relating to content and any breaches of The Travel Hubʼs Terms and Conditions. 

Users acknowledge they do not own the rights to their individual page on The Travel Hub website

Should any advertising be displayed on the pages of Registered Users, this is done at the discretion of The Travel Hub and all financial profits or otherwise belong to The Travel Hub. 

The Travel Hub reserves the right to temporarily or permanently de-activate any Registered User page and all access from The Travel Hub platforms.

10. Terms relating to Curated Ad Placement:

Registered users have  the option of using the default ad banner on their profile page, or uploading a curated ad banner. This ad banner will be in the form of a 300 : 800 crop ratio graphic which may include imagery and or text. The content of this ad banner is subject to the same terms and conditions relating to written content and visual content. 

The Registered User is entitled to make an arrangement with a brand, business or 3rd party to receive remuneration or otherwise for displaying this banner on their page. This arrangement between The Registered User and any brand, business or 3rd party is subject to its own terms and conditions. The Travel Hub is not  responsible for any disagreement or otherwise arising from agreements involving this ad banner placement.

11. Terms relating to analytics:

Registered Users are entitled to access analytics relating to the performance of their page, content and ad banner on The Travel Hub. These analytics are limited to the statistics provided on The Users profile. A PDF report of these analytics may be generated. The Travel Hub shall not be liable for any inaccuracies in these analytics. Any arrangements made arising from these analytics are separate to these terms and conditions. These analytics are provided as a guide only.

 

12. Terms relating to privacy

The private contact details of “Registered Users”, entrants to competitions and subscribers to mailing lists will not be provided to outside parties for marketing purposes, in accordance with Privacy Laws. If Registered Users elect to have certain contact information available on their page, this is done so at the discretion of The User. The User is aware this information will be visible to 3rd parties, including brands. 

Users should not provide personal details at any other time than the registration process. Any information uploaded, displayed or submitted outside these times is done so at the users responsibility.

Users are required to keep their login details and password private. The Travel Hub will not provide this information to outside users and The Travel Hub will not have access to password information.

The Travel Hub cannot be held responsible for the unwanted acquisition of personal details, including through hacking or accident. Whilst attempts are made to keep this information secure, The User acknowledges there is some risk in providing these details online.

                

13. Terms relating to liability:

The Travel Hub cannot and does not control the actions of others, including those using The Travel Hub platforms. As such, The Travel Hub cannot be held responsible for the conduct, views, behavior or sharing of content by individuals on The Travel Hub platforms. Where instances of inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of The Travel Hub and that behavior is deemed to be in breech of these terms and conditions, appropriate action will be taken against the user.  

The Travel Hub shall not be held responsible or liable for the consequences of actions of those using The Travel Hb platforms. Civil matters arising from disputes between parties involving the use of The Travel Hub must be settled between those parties.

The Travel Hub shall not be liable for any lost revenues, profits or opportunities through the use of The Travel Hub platforms or collaborations. 

The Travel Hub is not required to back up information submitted to its platforms and shall not be liable for loss of content, information or the data.
